Yes. Donations to The Trespass Project are 100% tax-deductible as allowed by law. We operate under the fiscal sponsorship of The Steen Foundation, a U.S. tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The tax ID number is 84-2674424.

Is my donation secure?

Absolutely. We partner with Givebutter, a platform that employs industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Payments are processed through their PCI-compliant partner, Stripe, where funds are securely held until they are withdrawn via bank transfer. Givebutter does not have access to your credit card information, and they take every measure to protect your personal information.

How will my donation be used?

Your donations are put to work immediately. We allocate funds to initiatives such as building digital tools that provide remotely-accessible legal information, driving legislative campaigns, expanding our reach through collaborations and global partnerships, and working with local translators to deliver content in multiple languages across the globe.
