At The Trespass Project, we’ve spent the last year and a half designing, building, and testing tools that accelerate youth access to their nations’ legal systems. These efforts are aimed at equipping young people with the knowledge and power to advocate for themselves, shaping the systems that directly impact their lives.
This week, we’re thrilled to announce that The Skillman Foundation has awarded us $11,575 as part of their $250,000 President’s Youth Council initiative. This funding, which was entirely allocated by youth council members, supports 30 forward-thinking nonprofits working to create transformative change. For us, this capital is a game-changer.
Here’s how we plan to use it:
Scaling Operational Infrastructure
This funding allows us to scale our core operations. From expanding our digital tools that connect youth to their nations’ government officials, to enhancing the efficiency of our internal systems, this investment ensures that we can meet the increasing demand for our programs.
Implementing Cutting-Edge Advocacy Tools
We’ll onboard new technologies that make it easier for youth to navigate complex legal landscapes with clarity and precision. These tools will bring life-changing resources to communities across the globe, ensuring no young person is left without the information they need to shape their future.
Expanding Global Reach
A portion of this funding will go toward translating our materials into multiple languages, collaborating with international experts, and forming partnerships that extend our reach to underserved areas. By bridging geographic and cultural divides, we’ll ensure our impact continues to grow worldwide.
This moment is all thanks to our incredible team of volunteers, partners, and translators who have given their time, talents, and dedication to make The Trespass Project what it is today.
We’re honored to have been chosen by The Skillman Foundation to protect the next generation.
Stay tuned as we leverage this investment to create a world where youth have the tools they need to be heard in the decisions that define their lives.
